February 1692 two unassuming girls,
began to black out
tore apart linens they destroyed the whole kitchen
they began to thrash about
convulsing delusions, a demonic display
mystic ramblings they did shout
contorting their bodies with inhuman strength
foaming at the mouth

the village up in arms
there are witches amongst us
theyre hiding in our barns
we must deliver holy justice

throw them in the sea with rocks tied to their feet
if they float, they are witches so well burn them in the street
if they sink they're innocent, burial at sea
suspected witches will be killed, sentenced to eternal sleep
tie them to the stake for every one to see
the flames shall cleanse the world of their unholy deceit
their deaths are indiscreet they devil they shall meet
