Jordan Vauvert Ce n'est pas quelque chose que je dis très souvent, mais le raw black metal de Zhmach est aussi intelligemment construit que celui de Trhä (en tout cas quand Damián traverse ses phases colériques) sauf que le quartette russe accomplit la même chose en dix fois moins de temps — et rien que ça c'est à saluer ! Euphoria Never Leaves est punk, psychédélique et atmosphérique, il arrive toujours à créer de la surprise sans tomber dans le chaos pour autant. Le potentiel du groupe est déjà gigantesque ! Favorite track: Return of the Zhaba-King.

Matthew Hamill Reminds me of a black metal version of Envy. Really awesome stuff. Soaring riffs always get me.

jacefromspace 1) I love Old Nick as much as everyone else who's Grime Stone obsessed, but the contrast between Zhmach's straightforward, earnestly wistful raw black metal and the tongue-in-cheek nature (not a complaint!) of much of the GSR catalog really tipped the scales for my enthusiasm for the label overall. My 2nd favorite GSR release after A New Generation of Vampiric Conspiracies.
